From our class competition we had to choose 3 winners to go through to the Semi-Finals. They were Dante (Little Bo-Peep), Joshan (Jack and Jill), Evelynn (I'm a little Teapot).

At the Fledglings Team Competition Dante Neilson Won and went through to the Finals along with Evelynn who came second. We were extremely excited when Dante was announced the winner of the Poem Recital for the Years 1-3 Poem Recital Competition.

Congratulations to ALL the students who took part and a HUGE PAKIPAKI to Dante Neilson who represented our class and WON! You totally deserved it!

Swimming Time

Malo E Lelei

The Incredible Two's really love swimming. For some of us, it is our first time in the water.

At our first lesson we had to build our confidence being in the water. These are a few photos of us revisiting our skills from Term 1:
1) Entering and exiting safely
2) Building our confidence in the water.

The Fledglings giving Athletics a go!

Malo Ni,
On a Monday of every odd week, the Fledglings get together after lunch for Sports. This term, we are focusing on Athletic skills such as; shot-put, discuss, hurdles, standing long jump and sprints. The children are split into 6 groups. Each group spends 10 minutes at each station learning the skills. Ask your child what skills they have learnt and help them practice these at home.
