Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa - Keep your identity alive to thrive

Samoan Language week was celebrated not only in our class but also at our school. 
In our class we have 6 Samoan students who were really helpful throughout the week. We taught the Fledglings team the song, "Vaai i le pepe", which is a song about a butterfly. During the week we had rotations where we got to meet our other class mates and teachers from our team. We enjoyed making our feelers, butterflies, weaving and making a 'ili' (Samoan fan). 

Our challenge for the week was to introduce ourselves in Samoan. We tried our very best.
