Swimming Lessons in our School Pool

This term we have been learning to enter and exit the pool correctly using the ladder. We are also learning how to be confident in the water. For some of us, it has been a bit scary and a challenge but we have been supporting each other.
Thank you to our parents who allow us to bring our togs to school because it is important that we learn to be confident in the water.
During our second week we got to be a 'big brother and sister' helper. We showed and helped the Courageous Cubs during swimming time. It was so much fun.

Check out some of our photos for the first 2 weeks of swimming.

Helping our buddies in the water.
Nico showing the Courageous Cubs what to do.
Practising to blow the ball rather than spit at it. Boy it was a challenge!

  2. I was really impressed when I came to see one of your swimming lessons. You were blowing the balls across the pool and I could see you were really concentrating hard.

  3. I loved watching your swimming lesson with Mrs Hawley-Simmonds. You listen very well and I absolutely think Miss Manuele does a great job teaching you the skills for swimming. Keep up the great work.
